When do I introduce poles to kids?

My daughter is 5 year old. She started skiing about 3. The past 2 season she was stuck in wedge after me taking her to ski school. This season I started teaching her using PMTS. She can now do Javelin turns. But she asked for poles. I am wondering if it is too early to introduce poles to her. If so, in what stage is the best time to introduce poles.

If she can do a PMTS javelin she can use poles.

Our ski school only teaches PMTS direct to parallel. We teach 4 and 5 year olds and they all get poles.
