It's purchased generic music from a big commercial company. No real known artists.

I'm surprised you would have your DIN set as low as 4. Is there a reason?

I'm sure it was a mistake. He skied a set of my skis that I had forgotten to reset the bindings/din setting on, also set at 4 and the exact same thing happened and he didn't go down that time either.

It happens. I've done it more than once swapping skis with friends that ski with settings much lower than I do. One minute the ski is there and the next you are doing the one footed mambo!

I loaned the skis to an older gentleman two weeks before, who had a DIn of 4, I never checked the skis after they came back from the tuning shop. Skied 3 runs on fairly steep terrain before that happened, even of Pallavicini lift on the south wall. Good thing I didn't take any hard hits there.
