PMTS Short turns with High C

I changed jackets with Jim to try to fool Jay for the video session on the last run of the day.

It took Jay two turns and Diana one half a turn, to know who it was. But in Jay's defense he was looking through the camera.

I didn't know there was an option at camp to have a stunt double for the videos.

How much extra does that cost?

Anyone can be a stunt double as long as you can jet one ski to exit the turn, while pulling back the other for the new turn.

I sent Harald an email about this earlier... for those not paying attention, this is very, very good skiing.

Hi Harald ,
Very nice ! By the way I notice you ski mostly in the Head boots , not so much in the Dodge . Is there a reason for this ?

Yes mostly, in that one run, didn't have time to change boots between turns however. I still have my Dodge boots and will still ski them. This is the only video run of me or photo while skiing, since January 2013, (last year) so no jumping the gun. I like my Head boots I have two pair, I have 2 pair of Dodge boots and I mix and match, and tweak.

He he , I had the general impression that in most of the later videos from last year also you ski in the Heads but I haven't kept a tally .
As I am looking forward to having some Dodge boots fitted next month I am curious about the subject . I have been skiing in Head FR10.5 fitted in the " Skunk works " back in 2004 ( I used to change every year or two before that) .
I am still very happy with these boots but I guess it is going to be a big jump in response with the Dodge. I must admit I am quite surprised they are still going strong and show no signs of deterioration .

99% of the ski racers at Cannon on in head Raptors or Nordica Dobermans. I tried a Raptor on last year before I went with the Alpina and was impressed with it but Like the custom foam liner I get that is included in the price of the Alpina.

Jeremy, if the Dodge has the right fit, it can be amazing. We have skiers on it skiing better than ever. If the fit is too tight they don't work that well, the carbon is so stiff that there has to be some play in the shell for the foot and ankle to roll the boot on edge.

Some people have tried to order them to be shipped without fitting. We discourage this because it's too easy to screw up your size and therefore the boot gets shipped back.
