Very good hard snow ski. Could be a bit stiff depending on ski level. I ski it in a 170.

Just pulled the trigger on a pair of SLX 170cm. Got them with an EL 10 plate binding for $314.00. talked to a couple of older masters racers I know and the Non Fis version, which is what I bought, is a great beer league, hard snow carving free skiing machine that can make a pretty decent larger turn as well. Looking forward to taking it out for a spin this weekend. :D

The SLX is a detuned SL ski. If you are using proper movements it doesn't make a larger turn.

Use PMTS movements on the SLX (about a 13M radius ski) and it makes SL turns. It is as simple as that. The Elan Ripstick would be a better ski for longer radius turns and Nastar sets.

The ski prophet says the SLX has good rebound . Probably has but I don't see him getting any with his " technique " . Looks like a " false prophet " to me .
