A Heluva Weekend

Postby skifastDDS » Tue Mar 12, 2013 4:51 pm

I just returned from 3 intense, awesome days at Holimont with Heluva. We skied each other into the ground. Conditions were perfect, firm in the morning and soft in the afternoon. I'll have video up soon, but for now:

No doubt Greg, that was a great three days of skiing!

For those that don't know, SkiFastDDS [Greg] has been working on PMTS for three seasons now. He is showing massive improvements in his skiing, all with only getting a handful of days on snow every year. He is a very dedicated student of the sport and seeks real feedback about his skiing. The three days he spent at Holimont were break-through days as his skiing showed next-level improvement over the best skiing he showed last season. He improved huge amounts every single day. Keep an eye on this guy's skiing. He's good now. He's going to be great, because he's dedicated to making it happen.

Those pictures are actually HD video captures. I have a lot of footage, but I am heading to Utah on Monday for a week. I want to show the best skiing possible, so I will make my usual compilation video and post it after this trip.

I can send a nice pair of pants from 'Italy.
Valentino is a friend of mine. He is a great skier, as you can see by the minute 1:52, and he also has some nice dogs with teeth really clean! :D

Here's my best shot from this year's Heluva weekend. We had cold temperatures and hero snow, it was a great time. I'm working on strict stance ski balance and free foot management, and it's been pretty difficult thus far. Hopefully I'll have video from Colorado in March that is worth showing.
