Ski Journal technique video , fore - aft balance

Postby jclayton » Sat Nov 06, 2004 3:15 am

Downloaded from E-mule a technique video from Ski Journal , any one got any ideas who the skier is as the language is Korean !!! Not PMTS but some interesting drills .

One drill was launching into the air at the end of the turn from the tails of the skis then immediately landing on the shovel by pulling the heels back under . An exagerrated action perhaps but for someone like me who still has to work hard to keep from sitting back would it be a useful drill ?

BigE , you're Canadian ( I gather ), any ideas ?

Those are called dolphin turns, for their porpoising action. It's a gross exagerration of unweigthing via rebound.
