Pole Plant Timing ????????

skimaster,
You know, that's a helluva name.

Don't let it be robotic. I follow a few important thangs, all of which of course came from Harald. From there, it's just relax.

1) Two knuckles up. I think one of my all time favorite HH tips.
2) Don't let your tips fall behind your heal piece.
3) The pole swing. It's really important. Flick from the elbow, forward to the wrist. Nothing else moves. Of course arms gradually change position, when making turns. I link this back to two knuckles up. In order to always have two knuckles up, your hands just end up in the right position, all the time.

* Warning! SCSAism. I've actually added to this. I don't know if it's very original or not, but I try to not let my pole tips ever hit the ground. Again, by having this plan, it x's off where my hands shouldn't be, which then creates greater chances of where they should be.. Sometimes I think in terms of what not to do, not what to do.

Make any sense?

So from here, I just try to relax, relax my arms. Robotic? No way.
