I'd rather see the tools before I buy

Rather than ordering on the internet.

I'll be in Mammoth this week, winterpark the next week. Any good stores that would have the real good stuff.

I'd rather buy once, but am also interested in appropriate recommendations for a "travel" kit.

Thanks!

I do.

I get most of the stuff from Tognar Toolworks ( http://www.tognar.com ). I am not even sure that you can get this stuff from the local dealers. Even if you do, I believe that express delivery from Tognar would still be cheaper.

Jim Dienes in Frisco, COL. Precision Ski. If you ask Jim for a 1/2 base and a 2 side he will do it and hand finish it, but you have to ask and talk to Jim.
