I am reading "Anyone Can Be An Expert Skier 2". I don't understand the following 2 points.
De-emphasize edging the stance ski at the beginning of turns and use correct free foot actions, and you’ll be able to turn your skis completely within a ski’s length of vertical distance.
Keep the new stance ski flat on the snow until the fall line.
If stance ski is flat isn't it easy to trip over and lose balance? Also does it conflict with carving high C which you want early engagement?
Thanks,
Luke
