Accreditation
The PMTS Direct Parallel accreditation is a three-day program (four-day
for sessions held outside the USA). It includes two days of training,
a written test, and one day of teaching scenarios (two days, events outside
of USA). You will receive feedback on your skiing and teaching during
all days. A candidate can work towards Yellow or Green in the same session
- his/her performance will determine the level reached. Blue-only and
Black-only sessions are available as well. To attend a Blue-level session,
you must currently be at the Green level. To attend a Black-level accreditation,
you must currently be at the Blue level. Click here to read more

Cost: 3-day:$180 member / $240 new member
4-day: $240 member / $300 new member
Lift tickets are not included in these prices. New member prices include
a one-year membership.

Maintenance
Accreditation
Successful completion of the PMTS Direct Parallel Maintenance Accreditation
is a requirement for accredited instructors (read
policy). This two-day event includes one day of training and one day
of teaching. To maintain your accreditation, you will be working at your
current level.
Cost: $120 member / $180 new member; lift tickets not included
in this price. New member price includes a one-year membership.

Fall
Instructor Camp
This camp is a super
way to start the season with a focus on your skiing and teaching. Four
full days of skiing and coaching, including daily video. Socialize with
new and old friends at the cocktail hour and sit-down group dinner. À
la carte training lets you choose the clinics you want to create your
personalized learning experience. Choose from Ski Improvement, Intro to
Teaching Direct Parallel, Practicing Student Directed Ski Instruction,
On-Snow Alignment Recognition, and more. A must if you are planning to
attend Accreditation later in the season.
Lodging: All campers stay in Copper Mountain's Central Village.
Again in 2005 - you can select from hotel, 1-bedroom condo, or 2-bedroom
condo. Contact us early to ensure sufficient space.
Cost:
$450 member / $500 non-member; lift tickets and lodging not included in
this price.

International
Instructor College - Hintertux, Austria
The College should be the highlight of your season. Spend five days working
on your own skiing in spectacular terrain and surroundings. Hintertux
is a glacier, so the skiing will be super in May. We’ll be staying within
walking distance of the lifts; lodging, breakfast & dinner, coaching,
lift tickets, and ground transportation in Europe (from Munich) is included.

Designed for instructors
who train, or would like to train, their peers in PMTS Direct Parallel.
Stay current with new material, evaluate your performance on an ongoing
basis, and learn to become a more effective trainer. Discuss implementation
of PMTS training with other ski school trainers.
